This is an interactive tape art installation, we created for Wilde Möhre Festival...an eco-friendly festival with electronic music, workshops and art.
We called our interactive installation RAIN FOREST...to make people aware of the deforestation.

During the day, it was like a tape art gallery - people could walk through the forest and look at our artworks.
But during the night, people were able to control a mixer console, which was connected to the lights. For this installation we used special red and blue tape, which responded to the light. Thus, poeple were able to interact with our installation by controlling the red and blue light spots...turning or fading the color in and out. Moreover, people could also create sound with an additional control panel, which was also part of our installation.

We like the idea of interactive art, because people deal with the subject.
