"ANALOGUE SURRENDER" is more than a mural; it is a visual exploration of the night, the intoxication of the moment, and the act of letting go. As part of Jägermeister's international "After Dark Society," TAPE OVER's co-founder LaMia was selected as one of six global artists to translate the pulse of nightlife culture into a physical masterpiece.
In a world becoming increasingly digital and ephemeral, this project demands a return to the tactile. The title speaks for itself: it is about the surrender to the analogue. Created at the Prachtsaal Studio in Berlin, the piece emerged from an intuitive process. LaMia utilized the distinct materiality of rough duct tape and smooth foils to create a dialogue between light and shadow.
At the core of this dynamic composition, a portrait emerges from the layers: the face of a young woman, captured in the absolute pleasure of the moment. Her expression is pure surrender to the music - a "frozen beat" amidst the motion of the dance. She embodies the physical act of letting go, surrounded by Fragments and lines vibrating around her like sound waves.
It is a unique piece that conserves the raw energy of club culture. "Analogue Surrender" is visual proof that true aesthetic doesn't happen on a screen, but in a space where you can feel the texture and breathe the darkness. We saw that fleeting moment of joy and taped that energy forever.

"ANALOGUE SURRENDER“ ist mehr als ein abstraktes Wandbild; es ist eine visuelle Auseinandersetzung mit der Nacht, dem Rausch und dem Moment des Loslassens. Als Teil der internationalen „After Dark Society“ von Jägermeister hat TAPE OVER (LaMia) den Puls der Nachtkultur in ein physisches Werk übersetzt.
In einer Welt, die zunehmend flüchtig ist, fordert dieses Projekt die Rückkehr zum Haptischen. Das Werk entstand in einem intuitiven Prozess, bei dem die Materialität von grobem Tape und glatten Folien einen Dialog zwischen Licht und Schatten erzeugt.
Im Zentrum dieser Dynamik schält sich ein Portrait aus den Schichten heraus: Das Gesicht einer jungen Frau, eingefangen im absoluten Genuss des Augenblicks. Ihr Ausdruck ist pure Hingabe an die Musik – ein „frozen beat“ inmitten der Bewegung des Tanzes. Sie verkörpert das physische Loslassen, das „Surrender“, umgeben von Fragmenten und Linien, die wie Schallwellen um sie herum vibrieren.
Durch die komplexe Schichtung (Layering) entsteht eine Tiefe, die den Betrachter in die Szene hineinzieht. „Analogue Surrender“ konserviert die rohe Energie der Clubkultur und beweist, dass echte Ästhetik gefühlt werden muss – im dunklen Raum, wo Struktur auf Emotion trifft.
