Tape art and music is always a great doubleact, the two play off one another and create something even more exciting forthe people. In the summer of 2013, we were invited to leave our mark on theinfamous “MELT! Festival” held in Berlin.
During the festival we taped bright andvibrant flamingos on the side of a container, which turned a bland containerjust lying around, into a work of art. A lot of people took a souvenir photo ofthe container in front of our funky flamingos, which they later uploaded tovarious social media platforms.
On the inside of the tapeart-container we made a"tape flashing" artwork, which was a colorful orchid flower design.Additionally, we used LED lights to change the colors and bring the flower tolife.
The location of the “MELT! Festival” is reallyimpressive, which always transports an amazing vibe. We were really proud to beable to, “do what we do best” at this incredible festival.
Am heißesten Sommerwochenende 2013 waren wir auf dem MELT! Festival, um mit unserer Tape Art einen Überseecontainer zu gestalten.
Wir kreierten auf der blauen Containerwand ein Kunstwerk aus neonfarbigem Klebeband - nämlich Flamingos in knalligem pink. Die Flamingos waren sehr auffällig und haben gut in die Szenerie gepasst, da sich auf dem Festivalgelände ein riesiger See befindet.
Für die Innenwände des Containers hatten wir uns auch etwas ganz spezielles ausgedacht. Hier haben wir eine bunte Orchideenblüte getapet. Und zwar mit Klebeband, das auf farbiges Licht reagiert. Am Abend haben wir dann mit LED-Strahlern die Tapeart-Blüte zum Leben erweckt...
