THE IDEA: ALPINE FLAIR IN BERLIN
For the Austrian restaurant Mutzenbacher in Berlin, we designed a custom art project that brings the essence of the Alps straight to the capital. True to our identity as strict tape art artists, we completely avoid paint and brushes. We studied the majestic peaks and taped that massive mountain range directly into the dining area using only duct tape. This form of modern urban art gives the traditional cuisine a contemporary and raw contrast.
THE DESIGN: EDGY PEAKS
On a 6x3 meter surface, our art director LaMia constructed an impressive mural. The hard, straight lines of the tape are perfectly suited to depict the rugged rock edges, deep valleys, and peaks of the mountains. The purist wall design blends seamlessly into the restaurant's interior without visually overcrowding the space. It is a prime example of how effectively adhesive tape art works in the gastronomy sector.
THE TECHNIQUE: CLEAR EDGES
Using minimal means—pure duct tape—we created an immersive installation that goes far beyond classic decoration. The clean, geometric wall art captures the raw charm of the mountains and combines it with the DIY energy of authentic indoor street art. We visualized the alpine atmosphere and taped that vibe onto the surface, proving once again that genuine tape art can completely redefine a location without a single drop of paint.

Für das österreichische Restaurant Mutzenbacher in Berlin haben wir ein maßgeschneidertes Kunstprojekt entworfen, das die Essenz der Alpen direkt in die Hauptstadt bringt. Getreu unserer Identität verzichten wir als konsequente Tape Art Künstler komplett auf Farbe und Pinsel. Stattdessen nutzten wir ausschließlich Gewebeband, um ein massives Bergmassiv in den Gastraum zu integrieren. Diese Form der modernen Urban Art verleiht der ansonsten traditionellen österreichischen Küche einen unerwartet zeitgeistigen und rohen Kontrast.
DAS DESIGN: KANTIGE GIPFEL
Auf einer Fläche von 6x3 Metern konstruierte unsere Art Directorin LaMia ein eindrucksvolles Wandbild. Die harten, geraden Linien des Tapes eignen sich architektonisch perfekt, um die schroffen Felskanten, tiefen Täler und Gipfel der Bergwelt darzustellen. Das puristische Wanddesign gliedert sich nahtlos in das Interior des Restaurants ein, ohne den Raum visuell zu überladen. Es ist ein Paradebeispiel dafür, wie effektiv und atmosphärisch Klebeband Kunst im Bereich der Gastronomie funktioniert.
DIE TECHNIK: KLARE KANTE
Mit minimalen Mitteln – purem Duct Tape – schufen wir eine raumgreifende Installation, die weit über klassische Dekoration hinausgeht. Die klare, geometrische Wandgestaltung fängt den rohen Charme der Berge ein und verbindet ihn mit der roughen DIY-Energie authentischer Street Art. Das fertige Tape Art Werk beweist einmal mehr, dass man keine unzähligen Farbschichten braucht, um einen Ort komplett neu zu definieren und den Gästen ein visuell fesselndes Erlebnis zu bieten.
