THE IDEA: LIGHT AND MATTER
For the Feel Festival, we designed a hypnotic art project that plays with optical perception. As dedicated tape art artists, we form our creations strictly from adhesive strips, never relying on paint. With this specific mural named "Feel the Flash," our goal was to break the physical boundaries of traditional wall design and integrate the dark festival environment directly into the piece. We observed the intense energy of the night and tape that electric vibe onto the canvas.
THE DESIGN: THE FLASH IN THE DARK
On a 4x3 meter surface, we constructed an abstract, geometric structure. The twist in this piece of urban art lies in the material: we used exclusively reflecting aluminum tape. In complete darkness, this masterpiece of adhesive tape art is nearly invisible. It is only through the use of rhythmic strobe lighting that the motif literally explodes before the viewers' eyes. It is a dynamic interplay where the installation is activated entirely by light.
THE TECHNIQUE: ILLUSION THROUGH REFLECTION
The combination of aluminum tape and flashing strobe lights transforms an otherwise flat surface into a pulsating spatial experience. The harsh contrast and sudden reflections create an optical illusion perfectly suited for the ecstatic atmosphere of a music festival. We calculated the exact angles for maximum reflection and taped that geometric puzzle to perfection. It impressively demonstrates how innovative modern street art can be when the DIY spirit of tape art meets the physical properties of light.

Für das Feel Festival haben wir ein hypnotisches Kunstprojekt entworfen, das mit der optischen Wahrnehmung spielt. Als konsequente Tape Art Künstler formen wir unsere Werke aus reinem Klebeband, ohne jemals auf Farbe zurückzugreifen. Bei diesem speziellen Wandbild namens "Feel the Flash" ging es uns darum, die physischen Begrenzungen klassischer Wandgestaltung aufzubrechen und die dunkle Umgebung des Festivals aktiv in das Werk zu integrieren.
DAS DESIGN: DER BLITZ IM DUNKELN
Auf einer Fläche von 4x3 Metern konstruierten wir eine abstrakte, geometrische Struktur. Der Clou an diesem Wanddesign liegt im Material: Wir verwendeten ausschließlich reflektierendes Aluminium-Tape. In völliger Dunkelheit ist dieses Meisterwerk der Klebeband Kunst nahezu unsichtbar. Erst durch den punktgenauen Einsatz von rhythmischem Stroboskoplicht explodiert das Motiv förmlich vor den Augen der Betrachter. Es ist ein dynamisches Wechselspiel, bei dem die Urban Art erst durch die Beleuchtung aktiviert wird.
DIE TECHNIK: ILLUSION DURCH REFLEXION
Das Zusammenspiel von metallischem Aluminium-Band und blitzendem Licht verwandelt eine ansonsten flache Installation in ein pulsierendes Raumerlebnis. Der harte Kontrast und die plötzlichen Reflexionen erzeugen eine optische Täuschung, die perfekt zur ekstatischen Stimmung eines Musikfestivals passt. Es zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie innovativ moderne Street Art sein kann, wenn sich echtes Handwerk im Tapeart-Bereich mit den physikalischen Eigenschaften von Licht verbindet.
