This 11m tape art mural was created at Upfest - Urban Art Festival in Britol / UK. It is a composition of lines & shapes, which looks very neat & fresh. This abstract tapeart style stood out from the crowd, because of the sharp lines and very graphic look & feel. It was the very first time that a piece of tape art was created at Europe's largest street art & graffiti festival.
ROB had a vision of a continuous but nevertheless changing pattern. The colored areas formed the basis to create a tape art pattern which plays with perspectives and perception. Especially the right part was clearly inspired by M.C. Escher. The implementation of this concept was a cooperation between ROB and Ben Farquhar, a newcomer from Bristol/UK.
